Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 medium Onion chopped
  • 32 oz beef broth
  • 24 oz diced tomatoes canned, undrained
  • 15 oz canneloni beans canned
  • 3 carrots medium, chopped
  • 2 celery ribs chopped
  • 2 Tbsp basil dried
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 C ditalini pasta
  • parmesan grated for topping (optional)

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until beef is no longer pink and onion is tender. Drain.
  • Combine the beef with the remaining ingredients except the pasta and parmesan in a crockpot. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours.
  • Add pasta and cook on high for 30 minutes
  • Serve with parmesan if desired.
